“Music for the People Concert” is a collaborative event between Afro House, Rochdale, Fenwick, and the Students of Color Solidarity Coalition. Together we will host a live concert featuring music, dance, and poetry performances from artists on our campus and across the state. The cost will be $5 presale and $7 at the door.
“Music to the People Festival” aims to raise awareness about current issues impacting communities of color. The proceeds of the concert will go towards Afro House, Fenwick, Rochdale, and the Students of Color Solidarity Coalition so as to continue the vital work these groups do for communities of color on our campus. Specifically, the concert will raise awareness about the campaign to remove Napolitano from office as UC President. She is a human rights violator and this concert will be a resistance space centered around transforming our University to meet the needs of communities of color in California.
